From the North:

1. Follow I-279 South to Route 28 North.
2. Cross the 40th Street Bridge.
3. Continue on 40th Street to Liberty Ave.
4. Turn left onto Liberty Ave.

From the Northeast:

1. Follow Route 28 South to the 40th Street Bridge.
2. Continue on 40th Street to Liberty Ave.
3. Turn left onto Liberty Ave.
4. Look for Pittsburgh’s Little Italy sign on the island (see photo below)

From the East:

1. Follow I-376 West to Wilkinsburg Exit.
2. Follow Ardmore Blvd. (Rte. 8) to Penn Ave. to Fifth Ave.
3. Turn left onto Fifth Ave. and follow to S. Aiken Ave.
4. Turn right onto S. Aiken and follow to Baum Blvd.
5. Bear right onto Liberty Ave.

From the South:

1. Follow Route 51 north to West Liberty Ave.
2. Turn right onto West Liberty Ave. , through the Liberty Tunnel and across the Liberty Bridge.
3. Follow I-579 North (signs to the Mellon Arena) to the Bigelow Blvd. Exit.
4. Follow Bigelow Blvd., take the Liberty Ave./Bloomfield Exit, and cross the Bloomfield Bridge.
5. Bear right at the end of bridge onto Liberty Ave.
6. Look for Pittsburgh’s Little Italy sign on the island (see photo below)

From the West and Pittsburgh International Airport:

1. Follow Route 60 South to I-279 North (no turns, only name change)
2. Follow I-279 North through Fort Pitt Tunnel and across Fort Pitt Bridge.
3. Take Liberty Ave. exit.
4. Follow Liberty Ave. through Pittsburgh to Bloomfield.
5. Look for Pittsburgh’s Little Italy sign on the island (see photo below)
