Our Award-Winning Festival

Eduardo & Arturo, strolling musiciansFor three days in Bloomfield it’s All-Italian-all-the-time. Expect lots of music, food, games, more food and other fun activities amidst Bloomfield’s unique shops and fine restaurants.

The 2008 festival features free activities and entertainment for young and old. This year 12 musical groups perform on the Main Stage at Liberty and Cedarville, along with strolling musicians throughout the weekend. Other activities include a bocce tournament and an Italian Mass, followed by the “Procession of the Madonna del la Civita”.

Awarded First Place in Statewide Townie Awards!The festival attracts over 20,000 people from all over the region. In 2004 “Little Italy Days” won the Mainstreets Pittsburgh “Special Events” Award and in 2008 received first place in the statewide “Townie Awards.”

Produced by the Bloomfield Business Association, this event helps to nurture Bloomfield’s “Little Italy” identity and to encourage people to live, work, shop and play here.

This Year the BBA is Hosting its First Annual “Little Italy Days Cruise”!

Cruise Planners, coupled with Carnival Cruise Lines, has developed a terrific FUNd raising program. We have a unique opportunity to raise money for BBA’s Little Italy Days Festival. Three key benefits of this FUNd raising program are the following:
